Past Events

I began the organised ‘endurance’ cycling in 2022. My first attempt was nothing short of a disaster with a front wheel collapsing, deviating from the route (not concentrating) and mistiming the the last Killimer to Tarbert ferry which meant sitting on the dock doing nothing from 8.30pm until the next ferry at 9:30am the following morning – 13 hours wasted. However, it was a great learning experience and I improved my performance the following year.

Trans Am Bike Nonstop '25

This race across America where riders must navigate three virtual unmanned check points in Oregon, Wyoming and crossing the Mississippi River, to achieve a recorded finish. The event combines the classic paved Trans Am Bike Race with the mixed terrain of Bike Nonstop USA. Still featuring a mass start  in Astoria, Oregon, riders have a myriad of options to choose for their route traversing the USA.

NorthCape4000 '24

One Continent, eight Countries, 4000 km self supported with a legendary destination, the Arctic Circle! This is the NorthCape4000, the Most Participated Ultracycling Bike Adventure in the World.

While the event’s framework is clear – a 4000km journey from Rovereto, Italy to North Cape through seven countries– what makes Northcape4000 unique is how each participant writes their own story within this shared adventure. Some push their physical limits, aiming to cover 300km daily.
